Project Introduction
The new campus of Chongqing Shapingba District People’s Hospital has a total investment of 2.2 billion yuan, with 1,200 authorized beds and covering an area of 6700 Square Meters. The hospital has successively introduced 28 discipline leaders and 78 technical backbones from multiple Class A tertiary hospitals, cultivating 35 municipal and district-level discipline leaders, including Shaci famous doctors and Shapingba famous doctors.
Analysis and Solution
The main loads of the Chongqing Shapingba District People’s Hospital project include electronic medical precision equipment, lighting equipment, variable frequency ventilation equipment, computers, and UPS systems. The harmonic currents generated are primarily of the 5th and 7th orders. The large amount of harmonics leads to a deterioration in power quality, affecting the stable operation of power distribution and production equipment. This project has applied 10 units of IKM's Active Harmonic Filter, with a total capacity of 1650Amps.

After the equipment was put into operation, the harmonic current distortion rate was reduced from 22.3% to 3.0%, demonstrating excellent harmonic mitigation effectiveness. It effectively eliminated harmonic currents in the power distribution system, improved power quality, reduced line losses, and ensured the stable operation of power distribution and production equipment.
