The company’s main products include metallurgical lime, quicklime, desulfurizers, and light-burned dolomite. The company’s registered capital is 72.45 million yuan. Lian Steel Group holds 49% of the company’s shares, while the company’s employee stock ownership association (comprising all employees) holds 51%. The company currently has 740 employees, an annual output value of 500 million yuan, and total assets of 350 million yuan.
Analysis and Solution
The project conducted power quality testing in the early stages, with a power factor of around 0.84, which was relatively low. Later, 2 units of 350kvar Static Var Generator were added for compensation, improving the power factor. Currently, the equipment is running very well.

After the SVG equipment was installed, the power factor improved from 0.84 to 0.95, showing excellent compensation results. With the improved power factor, the load on the transformer was significantly reduced, enhancing its operating efficiency and lowering the user’s electricity costs.
