Pangang Automotive Parts Co., Ltd., established in 2012, is located in Chengdu Economic and Technological Development Zone, Sichuan Province. Its business scope includes the design, manufacturing, processing, and sales of automotive parts, steel materials, and metal products.
Analysis and Solution
This project involves processing automotive parts, with a large number of variable frequency drives (VFDs) and welding machines in the production equipment. These devices generate significant harmonics, primarily the 5th and 7th order, which interfere with the power grid and impact the safe and stable operation of both distribution and production equipment.
Performance
THDi After Mitigation 3.3%
After iKonMac's Active Harmonic Filter 400A was put into operation, the harmonic current distortion rate decreased from 39.5% to 3.3%, demonstrating excellent harmonic mitigation. It effectively reduced harmonics in the power distribution system, improved power quality, lowered line losses, and ensured the stable operation of both distribution and production equipment.
