Project Introduction
Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. was established in 1999 and is located in Shanghai. The company has a registered capital of 1.44 billion RMB, covering a planned area of 2.1 million square meters with a coastline of 1,500 meters. As one of China’s most modern large-scale shipbuilding enterprises, it has grown into an industry leader known for its scale, modernization, specialization, and influence.
Analysis and Solution
The project consists of two sub-projects, total of 2400Amps Active Harmonic Filter:
1. The “Cruise Ship Final Assembly and Construction Master Plan - Thin Plate Center Substation Active Harmonic Filter Project”, which utilizes our 380V active power filter. The main loads include welding machines, variable frequency drives, and lighting equipment, all of which generate significant harmonics.
2.The “Waigaoqiao 2×4000kVA Shore Power System Phase II Project”, which adopts our 690V module. The shore power system features a 50Hz/60Hz power supply switch, and its electrical loads, such as lighting and air conditioning, produce considerable harmonics.
Performance
THDi After Mitigation 3.4%
After the equipment was put into operation, the harmonic current distortion rate decreased from 24.1% to 3.4%, demonstrating excellent harmonic mitigation. It effectively reduced harmonics in the power distribution system, improved power quality, lowered line losses, and ensured the stable operation of both distribution and production equipment.
