Project Introduction
Shanghai Zhaofeng Plaza is surrounded by high-rise buildings and numerous businesses. It is a comprehensive business plaza integrating dining, entertainment, commerce, and shopping, with the distribution room located on the basement floor of the mall. Zhaofeng Plaza has a total of 42 floors, standing 159 meters tall. Floors 8 to 42 are office spaces, with a total building area of 55,416 square meters and a typical floor area of 1,900 square meters, featuring a clear height of 2.5 meters.
Analysis and Solution
Shanghai Zhaofeng Tower has a large number of energy-saving lighting devices, such as fluorescent lamps and showcase downlights. These lighting devices use ballasts and primarily generate 3rd-order zero-sequence harmonics. Additionally, there are rectifier-type UPS systems, office equipment, variable frequency air conditioners, and variable frequency elevators, which mainly produce 5th and 7th-order harmonics. The significant harmonic generation degrades power quality and affects the stable operation of distribution and production equipment.
