Project Introduction

        Tianjin Metro Line 10 is the ninth metro line to be opened in Tianjin, China. Construction began in January 2016, and the first phase of the line was officially opened on November 18, 2022. The line serves as a connecting route for the southwest to northeast direction of the city. Tianjin Metro Line 10 has a total length of 43.2 kilometers and includes 21 stations.

        The main loads of the metro project include lighting, variable frequency air conditioning, elevators, etc. The primary harmonic generated is the third harmonic, which creates current on the neutral line, posing a safety risk.

        This project uses iKonMac's Active Harmonic Filter, with a total capacity of 3200A. The equipment is currently operating normally, and the filtering effect is good.

        After IKM-AHF was installed, the harmonic current distortion rate was reduced from 60.7% to 5.4%. The harmonic mitigation effect is excellent, effectively eliminating harmonic currents in the distribution system, improving power quality, reducing line losses, and ensuring the stable operation of distribution and production equipment. The significant results have been recognized and appreciated by the owner.
